Joan of Arc Festival (Fêtes de Jeanne d'Arc) 29 Apr - 8 May 2007 (annual) Orléans	Held to commemorate the famous siege of 1428-1429 when Joan of Arc helped liberate the city. Every year the city celebrates with shows, parades and live theatrical performances. [ more ]
Rayons Frais Festival Jul 2007 (annual) Tours	Tours' annual arts festival is known as Rayons Frais (fresh food aisle) despite the fact that it has nothing to do with food. Instead visitors can enjoy more than 40 events including concerts, shows, and performances. [ more ]
At the Court of King François 23 Jun - 1 Sep 2007; Wed and Sat only (annual) Château Royal d'Amboise Amboise	Amboise's historic castle plays host to the summer-long celebration of the court of François I in all its glory. Local people gather to bring to life the masquerades and performances in period dress. [ more ]
